Battle of the Brands: Super Chevy vs Fun Ford vs Mega Mopar!

Special Features Added to Oct 22 & 23 / O’Reilly Auto Parts Battle of the Brands

Topeka, KS – August 25, 2016: Officials at the New Heartland Park Topeka announce the addition of the Outlaw Nostalgia Pro Stock Association and Ozark Mountain Super Shifters to the program for the inaugural O’Reilly Auto Parts Battle of the Brands event, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, October 22 & 23.

The Outlaw Nostalgia Pro Stock Association will be in attendance with their 7 -second 200 mph replica cars including the famed “Rod Shop” Dodge Colt, “Bob Glidden’s” Ford Mustang and Plymouth Arrow plus the “Butch Leah” Pontiac Firebird and more. The Outlaw Nostalgia Pro Stocks are throwback to the golden days of pro stock racing and factory wars. They will be in heads-up competition both Saturday and Sunday.

Also, making their debut are the gear-jamming, wheel-standing Ozark Mountain Super Shifters. These 10,000+ RPM race cars represent all the brands with Chevys, Mopars and Fords. They will be racing in competition throughout the day on Saturday.

“We couldn’t ask for better groups of cars and their enthusiastic and passionate owners at a Super Chevy, Fun Ford and Mega Mopar extravaganza,” says Scott Gardner, President of Heartland Park Topeka. “This O’Reilly Auto Parts Battle of the Brands will be something special when it comes to bragging rights of your favorite brand of race and street car.”

The O’Reilly Auto Parts Battle of the Brands features drag racing, autocross, car show, car corral, ride and drive, vendors and much more. Adult admission is only $15 per day with discounts for children, seniors and military.
